Reserve Your Event Dates
Take the next step to plan your transformational training or speaking events by requesting to hold your target event dates.
When we approve a hold request, we mark your desired event dates as a HOLD on our calendar. This communicates your intent to other prospective clients and reduces the chance that your dates will become booked during the contract negotiation stage.
How do event holds work?
Step 1
Select Dates
Please review the Chefalo Consulting Availability Calendar with your team. Please look at dates that are at least 60-180 days (2-6 months) away. This provides ample time for contract negotiation, event planning, and special considerations. Additional fees may apply for "rush" events.
Step 2
Request a Hold
As soon as you know which dates you'd like, book through our Claendly portal or send an email to your contact at Chefalo Consulting to formally request that we hold those dates.

Our team will modify our calendar availability and reach out to you.
Step 3
Reserve Dates
After your hold is approved, your contact at Chefalo Consulting will be in touch with the next steps to turn your tentative hold into a guaranteed reservation. Please note that holds are not guaranteed until a contract is signed and/or a deposit is paid.
If you see no available dates, please continue to click through the calendar until you do.
Calendar availability does not guarantee service delivery dates, holds, or reservations.
Hold requests can be denied at the discretion of Chefalo Consulting. Service dates (ie. reservations) are guaranteed once a deposit is paid and/or a contract is signed.

FAQs
What's the difference between a hold and a reservation?
A hold removes your target dates from our listed availability. Holds are tentative and not guaranteed.

A hold will expire automatically after 60 days, and new event dates will need to be selected. Should a different client reserve their hold on shared dates before you, your hold may be released prior to the expiration date. We will notify you if this happens.

A tentative hold becomes a guaranteed reservation when a contract is signed and/or a deposit is paid. Reservations are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
When do holds expire?
We hold dates as a courtesy to clients. They require no other committment than a formal request. Held dates are not guaranteed until a deposit has been paid or a contract has been signed, when a hold becomes a reservation. Held dates will expire if they do not become reservations.

A hold will expire automatically after 60 days, and new event dates will need to be selected. They may expire sooner than 60 days if another client reserves the dates first.
How far ahead should I book my event?
We recommend the following minimum lead times for booking events:
-
Single or multi-day training events and workshops: 180 days out (6 months)
-
On-site speaking engagements: 120 days out (4 months)
-
Virtual speaking engagements: 90 days out (3 months)
This provides ample time for contract negotiation, event planning, and special considerations. Additional fees may apply for "rush" events. There is never "too early" to request a hold, as our calendar fills up quickly!
