Chefalo Consulting is committed to providing a website experience that is accessible, usable, and welcoming to as many people as possible.
We are continually working to improve the accessibility of our website and digital resources while recognizing that accessibility is an ongoing responsibility.
1. OUR ACCESSIBILITY GOAL
Chefalo Consulting is working toward alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines provide internationally recognized recommendations for making digital content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
Our website is currently under development and has not yet completed its final accessibility evaluation. We will review and update this statement before the new website goes live so that it accurately reflects the accessibility measures completed, the testing performed, and any known limitations that remain.
2. ACCESSIBILITY WORK UNDERWAY
As the website is completed, Chefalo Consulting intends to review and improve areas that may affect accessibility, including:
-
Page titles, headings, and content structure
-
Keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus
-
Reading order and navigation consistency
-
Alternative text for meaningful images and graphics
-
Treatment of decorative images
-
Color contrast and text readability
-
Descriptive links, buttons, and form labels
-
Desktop, tablet, and mobile presentation
-
Captions, transcripts, and alternatives for video or audio content where reasonably available
-
Motion, animation, and autoplaying content
-
Accessibility of forms, scheduling tools, checkout pathways, and downloadable resources
Accessibility considerations will be incorporated into our ongoing website maintenance and the development of new digital content and resources.
3. PLANNED EVALUATION
Before launch, we plan to conduct a self-evaluation of the website using a combination of automated and manual review. The planned evaluation includes:
-
Running the Wix Accessibility Wizard and addressing detected issues
-
Reviewing pages with keyboard-only navigation
-
Checking headings, links, buttons, images, and form labels
-
Reviewing color contrast and text enlargement
-
Reviewing desktop and mobile layouts
-
Testing primary visitor pathways, including service exploration, forms, scheduling, downloads, and legal pages
-
Reviewing motion and reduced-motion behavior
-
Conducting a basic screen-reader review where practical
Automated tools cannot identify every accessibility barrier. We therefore intend to supplement automated scans with manual review and, where practical, feedback from people who use assistive technology.
4. VIDEO, AUDIO, AND MOTION
Some pages may include video, audio, animation, or other moving content. We are reviewing these elements to reduce unnecessary barriers and to provide controls, captions, transcripts, static alternatives, or other accommodations where reasonably possible and appropriate to the content.
The homepage may include a muted looping background video. Before launch, we will review its pause behavior, reduced-motion behavior, mobile presentation, and static fallback options. If an element cannot be made sufficiently accessible in its existing format, we will consider modifying or replacing it.
5. DOWNLOADABLE RESOURCES
The website may provide PDFs, toolkits, workbooks, guides, courses, videos, and other downloadable or digital resources. Some older resources may not yet fully meet current accessibility guidelines.
We are working to improve the accessibility of new and updated resources over time. If you encounter a resource that is difficult to access, please contact us. We will make a reasonable effort to provide the information in another available format or help you access the content in another way.
6. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
This website may use or link to third-party services such as GoHighLevel, Calendly, Zoom, Google Analytics, video or audio platforms, booksellers, payment processors, and external resource or course platforms.
Chefalo Consulting does not control every aspect of the accessibility of third-party platforms. If a third-party service creates an accessibility barrier, please contact us. Where reasonably possible, we will help identify another way to obtain information, schedule a conversation, complete an action, or access a resource.
7. ACCESSIBILITY OF SERVICES
Chefalo Consulting provides services virtually and at locations selected or arranged by clients, event organizers, and partner organizations. Accessibility arrangements at those locations may vary and may be controlled by the host organization or venue.
We welcome conversations about accessibility needs when planning speaking engagements, training, guided learning, consulting, meetings, and other services. Please share accommodation requests as early as reasonably possible so that we can work with you and, where applicable, the host organization or venue.
8. FEEDBACK AND ACCESSIBILITY ASSISTANCE
We welcome feedback about the accessibility of this website and our digital resources. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, need assistance using the website, or would like to request information in another available format, please contact us.
When contacting us, it is helpful to include the webpage or resource involved, a brief description of the issue, and the format or assistance that would be most useful. You are not required to disclose a disability or medical information to request accessibility assistance.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility-related requests within five business days. The time needed to provide a resolution or alternative may vary depending on the nature of the request, the resource involved, and whether a third-party provider is responsible for the affected service.
9. ONGOING IMPROVEMENT
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We intend to revisit this statement, review the website as content and technology change, and continue improving accessibility based on testing, updated guidance, and visitor feedback.
This working statement will be revised before the new website launches. The updated version will describe the assessment completed, the measures implemented, and any known limitations or alternatives available at that time.
